Dear Mike,
I wanted to follow up with you now that our room addition project is complete and tell you how pleased we both are that we were fortunate enough to have had your help in the design of this addition and how well the project flowed throughout construction.
One comment I overheard during one of the inspections by the City of Mesa was ,” this is the most thorough and detailed set of plans and specifications I’ve ever seen”, and that was said by the inspector who had 22 years of experience!
A real testament to the quality of your work is the fact that the job was bid for a lump sum, ($125,500), and there were no change orders resulting in any increase in that lump sum. We did negotiate a few minor detail substitutions/changes around trim selection, door selections, closet interior, Etc, but nothing to do with the structure, floor plan, or anything else of consequence. And we’ve not forgotten that these plans went through the City plan check process with NO REVISIONS!! How cool is that?
